This is my final painting in support of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice – Yellow Roses #4
As the autumnal nights drew in, I felt inspired to create an imagined ‘moonlit’ scene with the last of my yellow rose studies. At one stage, as I lay my painting outside to dry, the shadows from our blackcurrant buses cast interesting shapes across the painting: I decided these worked perfectly when incorporated into the image:
